“The Great Deep Burst Forth”
We probably have all heard the flood account of the Bible.  We know it rained forty days and forty nights, but did you know the water or the cause of the water didn’t just come from above?   It says in Genesis 7:11, “the fountains of the great deep burst forth.”  In this talk, we are going to focus on that verse and how this bursting forth of the great deep is an important detail understanding the floods effect on our world and its geology yet today.   It helps explain what we believe the flood caused, the movement of the continents, the ice age, and much more.

Our Speaker: Pastor Chris Lockie
This talk will be provided by Pastor Chris Lockie, who has served in the pastoral ministry for 16 years in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.  He is currently the pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Racine, Wisconsin.  This talk originates from a Bible study he taught after visiting the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter.   Pastor Lockie and his wife live in Racine and have four children.
