There is great evidence confirming the pillar truths of Christianity.  After 34 years of pastoral ministry and decades of the study of Christian apologetics Rick McGough has developed summary points which speak of the compelling evidence showing that the theory of Evolution is flawed, God is Creator of All, the Bible is God's Word, and Jesus Christ is Who the Bible says He is! 
Rick will be sharing some of these points of evidence in a fast moving, visually engaging message.

Rick will be sharing 8 areas of evidence that confirm the Bible is the Word of God. These areas of evidence include a fascinating study of the unity of the Scriptures and the fulfillment of Bible prophecy in history and in the world today, as well as archaeological discoveries, medical and scientific facts found in the ancient Scriptures, the changed lives of hundreds of millions of people, as well as the indestructibility of the Bible.
Also, a brief look at the bibliographical evidence confirms that the Bibles we read today are an accurate reflection of the original manuscripts. As in part 1 on Creation vs. Evolution, Rick will attempt to present complex issues in a simplified manner to assist believers in communicating these important truths to others.

Our Speaker: Rick McGough
Rick McGough is the Founder and President of Local Church Apologetics and the Coordinator of the Truth Conferences held in various locations across America with Josh McDowell and other speakers from around the nation.

Rick is also the author of “Faith & Reason Made Simple” a book designed to help the average Christian understand and communicate Christian apologetics.  He has also produced the video television teaching seminar “Faith & Reason Made Simple” which is available, along with Teacher’s Manuals and Student Manuals for churches, schools, families and individuals.

After 34 years of pastoring Rick has followed the Lord’s leading to step away from pastoring to devote the rest of his life to equipping local churches and believers of all ages in how to defend their Christian faith in the midst of the unbelieving culture of 21st Century America. Rick now travels and speaks at churches, schools, conferences, etc., delivering sermons, outreaches, teachings and seminars, all filled with visual content to help the listener grasp the truths being shared. Local Church Apologetics is working with other apologetics ministries to provide church friendly materials to assist local churches in teaching apologetics to every age group within the body of Christ. Rick & his wife Val live in Moline, Illinois. They have three grown sons and 8 grandchildren.
