Day 6 of Creation - Made in His Image
This talk explores the fact that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, as Psalm 139 tells us. We will mostly look at the wonders of design found in the human body. We will also briefly speak about the lack of evidence for any type of evolution from ape to man, and briefly speak about the evolutionary worldview and the Biblical worldview, speaking about where both of them lead when it comes to our understanding of the value and purpose of mankind.
 
Our Speaker: Rick McGough
Rick McGough is the Founder and President of Local Church Apologetics and the Coordinator of the Truth Conferences.  After pastoring New Life Fellowship church in Moline, IL for 34 years Rick stepped away from pastoring to dedicate the remainder of his life to helping to bring apologetics training into local churches and the lives of believers.


In his new book, "God's Amazing Book, The Book That Changed the World Forever", Rick takes the reader on a journey through the Bible, revealing the remarkable internal unity of this book, written down by 40 authors over a 1,500 - 1,600 year period, on 3 continents, in 3 languages. The main character of the Bible, Jesus Christ, is seen throughout the Old and New Testaments. The themes that are woven throughout the pages of Scripture reveal that the Bible could only have been put together by the God of history, Who knows the end from the beginning.
